I think I should drop the habit of watching TV or movies because it makes me feel like I’m wasting time. So I planned not to watch TV and movies. I do quite well except I can’t resist Marvel’s superheroes movies which I like – I keep it as an exception.
A few days ago, I read an article on Mark Manson’s blog – one of the blogs I like. In that article, he said most of the things happening in the world – such as politics and religions – cannot be said right or wrong clearly. But people like to know right and wrong clearly – that is why Marvel has been pumping out dozens of movies which are successful nowadays.
Why do people like Marvel’s superheroes movies?
In these movies, right and wrong can be seen clearly. That is why people like it.
Damn! My exception of letting myself to see superheroes movies goes wrong with a philosophy I like!
What should I do? I should drop watching this as I did with Facebook and other Social Medias.
Yes. Mark Manson’s point is true. When I watched “La La Land” (movie), I was disappointed after watching because that love movie doesn’t go as I expected or should have ended as other movies too. To me, the movie doesn’t end clearly. The screen writer is famous and criticized (good anyway) for his own screenplay style.
That is why I like to see superheroes movies and was disappointed with La La Land.
If, in the world, things can’t be said in the right and wrong way clearly, why should I watch superheroes movies that are opposite to the world in reality? (Yes. I agree with you if you watch movies for entertainment purposes. It is OK.)
I am thinking of overcoming my wants of watching superheroes.
